Council members look to dismiss law suit

Mayor Pro Tem Bill Goodwin, along with Council members Kara King and Mayor Elect Monty Parker have retained separate council and are asking for the law suit against them personally by The Backyard be dismissed.

With the additon of yet another law suit - this one from developer Adrian Overstreet over access to offices at the back of HCG - two council members have called a special meeting on Thursday March 8th.

Kent pulls out of City election
|
Hill Country Indoor investor Jeff Kent pulled out of the Bee Cave City Council election on Friday 23rd - just one week after signing up to run.
Now incumbents Goodwin and Matzen face challenger Jon Cobb for the two vacant seats. Once Monty Parker becomes Mayor the new City Council can then appoint a new member to take his old seat for up to a year.
