A social media driven alert caused local law enforcement to increase their presence at LTHS on Thursday February 7th. THe first announcment from the Principal made the situation public:

This from BCPD relating to a crash this week: "Wednesday at approximately 1:27 a.m. a one vehicle accident in the 15700 block of Hamilton Pool Road sent one person to the hospital after he was rescued from his burning car by two men who happened on the scene.
Bee Cave to annex Homestead low water crossing?

Bee Cave Mayor Monty Parker has been authorized by the City Council to enter into negotations with Travis County to annex the controversial low water crossing entrance to The Homestead neighborhood at Great Divide Drive.

Bee Cave PD sieze drugs and guns

From BCPD - "On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, Officers of the Bee Cave Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Highway 71 that resulted in the seizure of 4.6 ounces of Methamphetamine, several prescription narcotics, and a pistol.
Two individuals were arrested as a result."
